Lab 3: Adobe Illustrator Typography

ESRI Logo

The color scheme I chose for this logo was blue and green, to represent a very basic image of a globe, blue representing the oceans and green representing land. I applied a layering effect to the logo because layer are often used in ESRI products, such as ArcGIS. Some layers have texture applied to them to help the layers stand out.

Michigan State University Logo

The color scheme used was Michigan State University, “Spartan Green,” (acquired from a quick Google search) and shades, black and white, to not distract from the Spartan Green. I reduced, “Michigan State University,”  to it’s lettermark initials. I chose to give the letters a stitch effect, simulating college logos embroidered onto sweatshirts, shirts, blankets, etc.Tutorial used:
